Our expert services

Why timely assessment matters

Waiting for an ADHD or autism assessment can be one of the most frustrating experiences for individuals and families. NHS waiting lists can stretch to several years, and the longer the wait, the longer vital support is delayed. At ENS ADHD & Autism Assessment Centre, we believe no one should have to put their life on hold for answers.

We offer private assessments with significantly shorter waiting times, as well as NHS-funded assessments through the Right to Choose pathway, giving you more options and more control over your care. Our specialist team works with you from referral to diagnosis, with clear communication and genuine person-centred support at every step.

Our assessment services

We offer a comprehensive range of specialist assessments for adults and children and young people.

Adult ADHD Assessment

Specialist ADHD assessment for adults using validated tools including DIVA 5.0, CAARS and QbTest. Delivered by experienced clinicians in line with NICE guidelines.

Adult Autism Assessment

Comprehensive autism spectrum assessment for adults using ADOS-2 and ADI-R. Our clinicians understand how autism presents differently across genders and backgrounds.

Adult Combined Assessment

Where both ADHD and autism may be present, our combined assessment pathway evaluates both, reducing the need for multiple separate referrals.

Children & Young People: ADHD

ADHD assessments for children and young people, including tools such as Conners 4 and SNAP-IV, with input from families and schools as part of a thorough evaluation.

Children & Young People: Autism

Paediatric autism assessments using ADOS-2 and age-appropriate tools, with reports structured to support EHCP applications where relevant.

Children & Young People: Combined

For children presenting with possible ADHD and autism features, our combined CYP pathway assesses both, giving families a complete clinical picture.

Our clinical scope is broad and our team works flexibly to ensure the right assessment pathway is matched to your individual needs. Get in touch to discuss which assessment is right for you.

NHS-funded pathway

Your Right to Choose

If your GP refers you for an ADHD or autism assessment, you have the legal right under NHS England policy to choose which provider carries out that assessment, including ENS ADHD & Autism Assessment Centre. This is known as the Right to Choose, and it means you don’t have to sit on standard pathway waiting times.

Right to Choose is available for ADHD and autism assessments for both adults and children and young people. The assessment is fully NHS-funded, so there is no cost to you, and our waiting times are significantly shorter than the standard pathway.
